“Novy Domov” – a community newspaper published since 1946, focusing on the needs and interests of the Czech and Slovak communities in Canada and around the world. My responsibilities included content development, design and page layout, and bringing every issue to its final release. I oversee the web presence of the newspaper and manage issue content updates until today.

As a part of the Education Department, I was responsible for delivering science related programmes to visiting schools and the public. I developed, taught and maintained various courses primarily in physics, mathematics, astronomy and computer science. I was a key member of The Challenger Learning Centre mission team and the Marsville Project. I pioneered programmes in Theory of Chaos and Holography, and enhanced and delivered workshops in Electron Microscopy and DNA finger printing.
